Medicine Man Gallery will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary with a special group show of works by our gallery artists opening Friday, February 3rd, 2017. The show will run until March 3rd.

Mark Sublette Medicine Man Gallery specializes in the life work of famed western painter Maynard Dixon. Tucson is Maynard Dixon Country, and Medicine Man Gallery east houses the Tucson Maynard Dixon Museum which features Maynard Dixon original oils, drawings, illustrations, poetry and easel.  Also on display are works by Maynard Dixon’s wives, both acclaimed artists, Dorothea Lange and Edith Hamlin.There are always a large number of Maynard Dixon paintings for sale at all of Mark Sublette’s Medicine Man Galleries.

The gallery also features works by the Taos Society of ArtistsTaos FoundersEarly Santa Fe and Taos Art colonies. Orignal members of the Taos Society of Artists included J. H.Sharp, E. I. Couse, E. L. Blumenschein, Buck Dunton, Oscar Berninghaus, Walter Ufer, Keneth Adams, and Bert Phillips.

Antique Native American Indian art is our specialty. With a large inventory of Native American art to include Navajo Rugs and Blankets, Native American Pueblo Pottery, Indian Baskets, Hopi Kachinas, Old Pawn Jewelry, Contemporary Native American Jewelry, and Native American Beadwork. We have one of the largest inventory of Native American art for sale in the country. 

We also exhibit works by the Southwest’s most acclaimed contemporary painters and sculptors. Featured members of the Cowboy Artists of America include Fred Fellows CA, Oreland Joe CA and John Coleman CA.
